maple syrup is based on the colour and authenticity of its maple flavour. The two grade names for imported maple syrup, Grade A and Processing grade. The 4 colour classes for Canada Grade A maple syrup are:

  • Golden, Delicate Taste
  • Amber, Rich Taste
  • Dark, Robust Taste
  • Very Dark, Strong Taste
