Cumin

Cumin is the seed of the fruit of the Cuminum cyminum plants and has been used since ancient times. Cumin is native to Southwestern Asia as well as the Middle East. Cumin is used in curry powders, bread, cakes, and cheese. It possesses medicinal properties and is used as a stimulant, carminative, stomachic, and astringent.
